Our Fall sports season includes Flag Football, Cornhole, Bowling, and Soccer. Registration is currently open for Flag Football, Bowling, and Soccer. The athlete roster for cornhole is full, but we are still In need of coaches/unified partners.
Due to overlapping competition schedules, athletes may register for Flag Football OR Cornhole, but not both. Athletes may register for 1 or 2 fall sports.
All sports are open to athletes ages 8 and older. The only youth-specific sport this season is bowling on Wednesdays. Space is limited and some rosters may fill quickly, so we encourage athletes to register as soon as possible.
Registration closes on July 15th for Flag Football and August 22nd for Bowling.
Aim high and let it fly! Cornhole is a great sport for athletes of all skill levels. Practices are Thursdays starting Sept. 3rd.
Huddle up for fun! Flag football is a fast-paced team sport that builds skills, confidence, and teamwork. There is not a Sunday option this year. Practices are Wednesdays starting August 5th.
Lace up your shoes and get ready to roll! Bowling is our most popular sport of the year, so don't wait to sign up! Rosters fill fast. Practice options are Monday, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (youth-specific night) starting Sept. 14.
We had hoped to open soccer registration alongside bowling, but we're still finalizing a few logistical details. There is a small chance we may not be able to offer soccer this season, but we're actively working to make it happen and will provide an update as soon as possible.
Leadership University
SOMN offers Leadership University to athletes once a year at a Minnesota college or university.
Leadership University is a one-of-a-kind event where athletes choose what leadership topic they would like to grow in and receive innovative training to get athletes where they want to go.
Each Athlete is required to be accompanied with their Unified Partner, and together they will learn, develop skills, and apply their knowledge in their teams and communities.
General sessions are included at Leadership University, these sessions include guest speakers, learning how to be an athlete representative, the history of ALPs and other pertinent information.
Please note athletes need to be 18+ to participate.
For registration and further information please visit the Athlete Leadership page or contact Kelly.
